reading this old forum and seems that you are the expert. had a question about these oil cooler hole. was there only 1 correct shape (yours)?

i've seen so many different shapes.

what cars came with these holes? you mentioned only S/C cars? but i've also seen them on street and comp cars, even on 289s.

sorry for being unclear. guess it's called the "scoop" on the body front. below the big oval radiator hole?
