I noticed that Kevin is located in MA. I don't know about Massachusetts, but if you run around for too long with out of State plates in California, they might bust you.
A buddy of mine moved back to California from Montana a couple of years ago, but kept his car registered to a company that he had part interest in at the time. A cop finally pulled him over and said that he'd watched him drive by with the MT plates for 6 months, and that it was time to register the car in CA.
