Just to close loop, 1965 registration received, no title

CT Title:

" The acquisition of a certificate of title for any vehicle manufactured prior to 1981 shall not be required. The commissioner, in his discretion, may issue such certificate of title for such a vehicle. "

I do not have a Title for the 1969 AMX. With the Cobra kit car now having either a 1965 or 1966 model year, title is not automatically issued.

Difference being that your 69 AMX did have a title at some point.
