16 years ago CHP wouldn't even look at my car without the sequence number from SB100. Are you sure you don't have it?? The BAR puts the sticker on the firewall.
Hi, first post here. I'm considering purchasing a Cobra registered as a 1991, out of California. The car I'm considering buying doesn't have receipts from the builder, engine manufacturer, etc. How do I proceed in this situation? Is the bill of sale from the seller sufficient?
When I bought my car, third owner, it came with a pink slip. No receipts. No problem in that sense. SB100 was a battle on January 2nd. I never had to show build receipts. If you are buying outside of California your situation may be different.
