Default Not all AC Cobra replicas are created equal

Not all AC Cobra replicas are created equal. Autocar's Steve Sutcliffe pitches a 550bhp XCS Fusion against a Jaguar XKR-S to find out just how potent they can be.

Hi, Gary
Huge fan of your build.
What is the latest news of your car and company? I live in the USA. Any chance this comes to our shores?

Thanks,
NewYorkGuy

sorry I haven't come back to you sooner I haven't been on hear for some time ,
things are going well at the moment we have orders for 3 with a couple more in the pipe line , one of the orders is to Sweden so that's our first export but I don't no if it will be to good exporting to the USA with the exchange rate as it is,
we have done a few changes to the first production chassis giving more leg room in width and changes in the engine bay mean we can modify the foot well easier to accommodate older big block motors hears a few photos
thanks for your positive comments and support Gary.

Default Big fan of space frames

I've got a home built space frame myself. It's also LS powered but also supercharged. It's not for a Cobra but for a Ferrari GTO. I've got a build thread on another site: C5 gto - All MetalShaping

I really like the engineering you've put into yours, especially the novel suspension stuff. I used C5 Corvette suspension, transaxle, etc. on mine. Now that I've said this, you can figure out where my user name comes from

Anyway, thumbs up on you work!

I have been lurking for a while on your build. The inovation in the chassie is most curious. Production of the frame will be labour intensive. Tig welding will need a large hood to capture the fumes. Nice build. Truely! Just have one question. "What is the front to rear weight ratio?" Best wishes for a successful production run.

We have redesigned the fuel tanks , they are laser cut so that the baffles plug in to slots to locate them while welding, they also have a laberinth system in the bottom of the tank so we don't need a swirl pot for the two large bosh pumps
