That footbox vent hose (black plastic) is very dangerous as I’ve seen two Cobra burn because the material caught on fire from the headers.....
There is a Orange Silicone Double layer vent hose used on all race cars that will handle high temperatures that should be used around any high heat situations...

wow, I just stumbled on to this thread... This car is amazing... I would love to hear the reply when some one asks the stupid question "is it real"?? This car is one off in the world. Truly amazing work Craig. This makes me rethink some of the items on my CSX build. Great thread...

Craig knocked it out of the park! I had access to originals and knew exactly what was important to me and Craig delivered! Happy bay area owner and most people I run into are not sure what it is as it doesnt say McLaren or Ferrari on it.

Love that car Craig. Have said it before....great (solid) colour, no stripes, black ancillaries....beautiful (in a very masculine way!)

Frame tubes
Thanks for posting your build.
I'm looking at building a new frame for my Cobra.
What diameter are the main frame tubes and what's the wall thickness?
