Default What Brake Caliper is THIS

Greetings. A friend has a new 1966 Cobra in the garage....new to him that is. He wants to rebuild the rear calipers, but we are having a hard time identifying the year/model from which these came. Definitely Ford.

Any ideas? Or any tips on how to identify them? I have not had a chance to record any marking on them, as the car is some distance away right now.

Thanks! I hope I chose the right spot in the forum to post this.

More pictures. Also pull the brake pads and get a pic of them.
Might be Crown Vic or Explorer rear disc. Looks to have the E-Brake inside the drum area of the rotor.
Take the pads to a quality auto parts store, they should be able to match them up, then that will identify what brake calipers you have. Napa, Carquest, Oreilly (look for the guys with the ASE certification patch on their shirt)

If those are cast iron, he may want to upgrade to aluminum aftermarket calipers and new iron rotors to shed a lot of unsprung weight.

Might have stumbled on the answer. The rear disc brakes appear to be from a 1979 Ford Granada, which were also used in the Mercury Monarch and Lincoln Versailles. Does that look right to any of you?

Those style calipers kind of stink to be honest. The slider mechanisms never worked really good. Also, if that is the bleeder screw on the bottom of the caliper we are seeing, that is definitely not correct. It may just be something in the background.
