Superformance = According to Superformance.org, the original Superformance molds were made off a Contemporary Classic Motor Car Company (CCX) kit. Jim Price of Hi-Tech Automotive (not to be confused with Hi-Tech Motorsports) measured the Contemporary Classic Motor Car Company body (which was based off CSX3045) and found differences from side to side, which is not uncommon for a hand-built, British vehicle. Jim corrected these discrepancies and this became the basis of the Superformance body. So, Superformance is also based off CSX3045 in a second-hand fashion.
I was told the same by Jim. I owned the very car in 2002 years after it had been used to copy it. (CCX 3080)
