I covered the inside of the inner rear wheel fenders, then installed them in place.

Next up I got the other floor panel in place, then installed the painted side vents.

Hi Craig,

The alloy work that you have done in the cockpit of this car is absolutely amazing. Most people will never realize how difficult it is to properly fabricate and fit these panels. Awesome job!!!

That's a detail that I can truly appreciate, as virtually all replica builders leave them in raw alloy or polished stainless (arguably more so for convenience than realism, but many like that look). They are truly a paint in the @ss to paint - took 3 tries and a good rub out before I was satisfied with mine.

Some folks prefer polished (or brushed) aluminum, sir.

I got the rear corner panels of the trunk made up and fitted, put the weather seal on around the trunk opening.
