brakes for CSX4000?
good day,
can anybody tell me please which brake calipers and rotors are used on the current CSX4000 cars?
I will check my drawings tomorrow for mounting points.
rears are 2.68" apart on a 6.4" diameter?
front:
what diameter are the rotors?
I will use 6-pin wheels.

good morning,
BEAR replied, having no brakes for a CSX4000, or replica with 6-pin wheels.
next try: BREMBO

Dominik,
Are you looking for specific part numbers? The rotors are slightly under 12". I believe they are 11.19". The calipers are made by PBR. I remember buying a set of pads for a 4000 car, and the application we told the parts guy was a mid 90's Corvette or Camaro. Baer uses them for a lot of their brake kits
If you want part numbers off the calipers, I'll try and look at a set for you and get photos.

thanks Kris,
part numbers would be fine.
of course I can adapt a lot and make rotor hats, but I am a litle tired of that.
plus straigth bolt on brakes look so much better than adapted ones.
cheers,
dominik

I upgraded the brakes on CSX4083 from the original Girling to Brembo race brakes. I will sell the original Girlings brakes, calipers and rotors, they have about 500 miles on them.

good morning,
I found the GIRLING numbers in the owner's manual and looked up the bolt spacing tomount the calipers to my uprights:
5 1/8" front (13mm hole) and 2 11/16" rear (7/16" NF thread).
would the original GIRLING fit to those?
cheers,
dominik
