I'm working on it! 
My wife thought it would be a one year project...
We are at 2.5 years now.
About what I expected considering the amount of work involved.
Now doing the fun stuff, cabinets counter tops and trim.
Months of work to go still since I only have about 12 hours a week I can work on it.
We built our house the same way and it took 3 years to build.
Next time I build a house, I will do it the way most do, just choose the plans, the colors and sign the checks 
Work interferes with my fun.
