Roll bar specs...

Can anyone provide the original diameter for the roll bar on a '67 427 AC? I have seen them from 1.5 inches to 2 inches. The 1.5 looks a little small and the 2 looks a little big.

Also need to know the measurement center to center, where it enters the body.
