Thanks Jeff, would like to have made it but...0012 is down with a broken trans. Hummm, how did that happen? Next year, or maybe Monterey next month.

Mark.

I was there and greatly enjoy the photos. With so much to see and do, it is hard to see it all. Great pictures. You are commended for hiking to the top of the grandstand for those overhead shots.

Hi Jeff,

Nice work with the photos and posting, you did not miss much! Great to meet you and your son Max, good job passing the passion onto the next generation.

SAAC 43 was a great event. I was only able to attend on Saturday but was there pretty much from start to finish. Nice to meet up with old friends and to make some new ones. A lot of hard work went into this event on both the national level and the local level, clubs & companies … SAAC, Nor Cal SAAC, Team Shelby, Cobra Experience and Ford just to name just a few. Below are a few more photos to add to the mix.

- Tim

Great looking Galaxie and quite a motor.

Hank’s Cobra … look at the wear on the clutch pedal, just imagine how many times he has shifted that Cobra!

Some other great cars.

I believe these fan blades are nicknamed lawnmower blades and for good reason.

A couple of ERAs.

Some of Peter Brock’s post Shelby American handiwork.

Ford GTs 2005/2006 & Current

At the Banquet there were a number of great presentations, capped off by some wonderful stories by four key contributors to the Shelby story and legend. From right to left, in the order they spoke: Tom Yeager, Chuck Cantwell, Peter Brock and Allen Grant.

Great shots (as always) Tim. Helps we poor mortals who can't attend share in some of the atmosphere of an SAAC event. Many thanks also to Jeff.
I notice ERA2136 is there; is the black ERA 289FIA Doug's?

Cheers,
Glen
