The manual and electrical diagrams are OEM quality but Bob helped me

I might also add that the ERA Cobras are one of the only replicas out there
the actually look and drive like the real 1960's cars. 5 Stars !
That is correct these issues dont apply to ERA... My post was not intended to compare a CSX car to an ERA I currently own an ERA, its a great car with great customer support. Lets not twist my post on a bashing CSX post!!

you quote "ERA cobras are one of the only replicas out there

They are Kirkham, CSX and ERA. although ERA chassis is not even close to the original, but I think you already know this. My point is, I did NOT start this post for all the people who have ERAs or SPF or FFR or whatever to bash CSX because they dont have the mechanical aptitude to sort out a roller.

Again I wanted a CSX because its NOT a replica of a shelby, it is a shelby. Please dont chime in with "is it real" comments. Because a 2018 shelby mustang is a 2018 does this mean its not real? LOL! Just take a look at market values of a FFR VS a SPF compared to a ERA KMS or a CSX...the market has spoken.

1) There is no assembly manual.
Already violated Patrick's Cardinal Rule No.1. Time to move on. No need to read the rest.

Mike,

Your ERA is a stunning car, as I suspect so will be your new CSX. Hang in there, take things one step at a time and it will work out just fine. All else fails, I highly recommend you reach out to CompClassics and let him assist you in working the kinks out of your new build.

Bill

PS: Can't wait to see it

Even a 1940 Oldsmobile had a 300 page service manual. I would say our cars are at least as complicated as a pre-war Olds.

Forgot a few;

10) Someone used a 90 degree home gas fitting to attach the oil pressure hose to the oil pressure gauge! I found this when I went to prime the engine oiling system and found a puddle of oil on the drivers side floor carpet.

11) Gouged up rear wheel

This list does not cover the substandard paintwork or inner aluminum inner panel damaged areas.

Yet somehow, our cars get built and maintained. Amazing how things get done without a 300-page manual.

At least the Kirkham manual is online here at CC.
