What a pain in the butt trying to remove a leaking master cylinder. Is there an easy way to do this? The square adjuster can't come off because the pin hits the footbox. I would assume during a race if the master went out, you were done for the day! Not a lot of room in this footbox. Any particular order from Shelby American? Might have to replace both after I get my head wrapped around this nightmare!

If the pin had been inserted from the opposite direction would the problem still be there? If not, and you can get a cut-off wheel on the end with the lip, even a skinny dremel cut-off wheel, then cut the end of the pin off, pull it out, and replace it with one inserted from the opposite direction. That might do it. If I'm understanding the problem, that is.
That's one problem, and yes it should be on the other side!
Other issues are getting to the bolt heads. If the Cobra's were raced, you would have thought the footbox could unbolt itself, swap in another footbox after lines were undone and put back on, bleed the system, and off you go. Just my $.02 worth!
