really good. i just put a dang 160 thermostat in car and runs better than without one. i was using the dove water tank that had the adjustable flow valve. was not working too well. better now with thermostat.

Ken,
Running a 180 thermo with a steam hole drilled in it is the ticket. Keeping your FE running right at 180 helps on a few different fronts; response, oil flow / no sludge etc. When my car is running at 160 or 170 vs. 180, there is a notable difference. All this time I thought you had a 180 in there. FYI.

1 year anniversary!
Well, it was 1 year ago that CSX4795 came to life!
Here she is today, at 1 years old, out playing nice with all the other Cobras in Colfax, Ca. High up in the Northern California Sierra's.
jdog
P.S. If any of you guy's or gal's are on the fence, DO IT! These cars are too cool!

It's nice, right?? It's been almost one year for me too, that my CSX has been on the road and I love every day of it!

Better view!
Heay Ex, here's a better view for you:
So far, the only one to get this close of a view, has been the CHP!

jdog, that looks like just a beautiful paint job. Black paint is awesome. Hopefully the truck parked on the right wasn't as close as it looks. Too close for my comfort. Rodney

Well good, jdog won't have those square tail lights to kick me around with now.
I understand the financial thing, there are times when I consider selling mine as well. ALMOST have on a couple of occasions, but I manage to pull through some how.

Csx 4795 Sold!
Well, my car sold last night, with a last minute flurry on ebay.
The final price was $83,999.
Not to bad considering the economy as it is.
I had about $66,000 into the car, so I did ok. I would have like to have seen more but not reasonable to expect right now.
So, for everyone interested, that's what a well appointed continuation Cobra is worth today, to the highest bidder.
This really means I can now satisfy about $1,500 a month in payments, and won't have to work all of the extra hours I've been putting in. So I can spend more time at home with my wife.
Good luck everyone
jdog
P.S. Watch your ass Ernie, this Shelby is headed for Hawaii! Those square tail lights will be right there for you to try to catch!
