Default Home Built Jet Engines
If any one is interested there are some good sites on home built Jet engines.

I got the jet car pics from this site. The guy's from New Zealand (where I grew up) and his site has a lot of interesting info and links to other home built Jet engine sites.

He also has a section on the turbine powered cars Chrysler where experimenting with in the 50s and 60s.
