Actually, if it your first time, don't feel you have to get the 'best dressed drivers award.' Usually a suit is not required, just long sleeve and leg cotton.
My first time I bought an open face Simpson with Nomex lining, Nomex lined gloves, Nomex socks and Nomex lined shoes.
It worked fine. I'm glad I didn't get the suit. It was in the high 80's and I was sweating enough with just pants and a shirt.
