Noise in Front Right while turning
Hey guys,
I thought maybe someone would have some suggestions as to what might cause a wierd noise coming from the right front of my car when I turn to the right. I sounds like a tire rub, but I have checked the car both on and off a jack and there is plenty of clearance.
The car is an Everett-Morrison, with Mustang II rack and pinion maual steering and Mustang II Front Suspension. It has Disc Brakes with Granada Calipers.
I have noticed to car still sets too high in the front, I would guess the springs are too tall and also too stiff. I can sit and bounce (180lbs) on the front fenders and they don't budge. But I don't see this causing the noise.
The car has not been aligned yet, but seems to track straight and does not pull to either side, even when braking. Is it possible the caster/camber or tow in/tow out could cause a noise like this???
I can not FEEL the noise in the steering wheel or in the Brake pedal.
ANY IDEAS???
Thanks
RZ
