Default Weber carbs anyone??

Guys,

Anyone running those real purty weber fluted carbs? What engine are they on? Disadvantages, advantages?? I would like to buy a set because I think they have a real cool look.

As 347 said....Cost is the largest factor....the carbs are just expensive.

Can't have as much cam as you can with a 4 barrel and you certainly can't have exhaust leaks at all.

Run great once you get them tunned.

With webers you can't run as aggressive a cam as without..if you have too much overlap then you get a cough out of the carbs.

I have been told that you don't want to go much over 300...I run 295/605 and I get a little sputter at certain RPMs and could stand to go down a notch on the cam...but it sounds good so who cares.
