Firestone vs Goodyear
I am in need of replacing my tires. I currently have Yokohamo. Standard 235x60 & 295x50 15's. In looking at Tirerack, it seems that the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 beats in, almost everything, the Goodyear Eagle GT II. Used on a Comtemorary with Jag rear. 427 upfront.
It will be strictly street driven or at sub 85mph on the highway. Well…..most of the time anyway. Any one have real experience with these?? How are they in the rain??
Firestone has an incredible 50,000 mile tread life warranty!
By the way, Carlisle really hurt the last 2 shows.
