Noisy Fuel Pump

Hi,

I have a Holley (Red)out of tank electric fuel pump and the noise is starting to bother me. The pump is currently hooked up with hard lines. Holley suggested putting putting a short run of soft line before and after the pump so it doesn't transfer as much noise/vibration.

Do you think the soft lines will make much of a difference? Should I bother. Is there a quieter pump out there?

I guess I can always raise my idle to about 1200 rpm so I don't hear the pump.
