Pusher and puller fans have two different functions. If your having temperature problems driving on roads or highways, pusher fans will probably not do you any good. Concentrate what others have said, a good puller fan and shrould. However if your temperature gauge is creeping up at idle or in slow traffic, properly placed pusher fans might stop this. The puller fan is to draw the hot air out from the radiator while the pusher fans should draw and push cool air from the front in for cooling. The pushers are only needed at very slow speeds or at idling but will help if your having this problem.
