T-5 identification
Help! I could talk to my local Ford guy, but I just moved here and he doesn't seem to be very helpful (he seemed more helpful when he thought I was going to buy a transmission). I am trying to find the year of my T-5 transmission. I had a pretty stout motor built and I think I want to upgrade the transmission and sell this T-5. but to sell it, I would feel better telling people what year it came from. It was supplied rebuilt from a third party. There is NO tag on it. there are several casting numbers that are heavily paint covered, not to mention hard to get at. The bell housing has E3ZR-6394 etched into it. The tranmission has small raised numbers that are 13-52-065-908 (confidence that these are correct about 95%) and the top area of the transmission where the shifter goes in seems to say 13-52-065-819 (these are really hard to get to and my confidence on these is a little lower). I am not going to give this tranny away and may wind up running it this summer if I get no interest on the rebuilt T-5 so I do not want to pull it out to get a better look. Can anyone out there help me to identify this? I know I can make enough calls and spend enough internet time, I may find this out, but maybe one of you has done this work already and can save me some time. Thanks
