Default 1995 351 waterpump help

I have a 1995 351 that has a stock replacement waterpump on it (rotates clockwise). I would like to clean up the front of the engine so i have a short triangle belt setup running the alt, wp and crank. Ive seen some guys switch to a counterclockise rotation waterpump and mount the alternator on the passenger side. I would like to do this, but cant get a straight answer on what will work on my 1995 351. Some have told me the front cover on my motor is interchangable with a 5.0.

If this is the case its an easy fix since there is a guy who makes a kit that has the waterpump and alternator brackets.

So, will the brackets, front cover from a 5.0 work on my engine? Or does anyone know if someone makes a counterclockwise rotating waterpump for a 1995 351?

Includes correct waterpump.

Thats the kit i would like to use, but he wasnt sure it would work on my engine. Note on that page it says Pre 1994. Mine is a 1995 block.

What year is your 393?

Trying to figure out if the 5.0s and 5.8s waterpumps are interchangeable.

The timing covers are all interchangable on the block, but here's the catch...
The std and reverse waterpumps have the water passages made differently. Your main clue here is the number of waterpump mount bolts. Some are 7 bolts and some are 8 bolts.

If you have a serpentine belt on your 351 the complete kit from Mike should work fine. If you have a V belt you'll need a pump from a mid-80's 5.8 Bronco, C125-1230, std rotation, 8 bolt, driver's side inlet. That's what I run on my 393. I actually run Mike's water pump on a 5.0 that I had in the car before the 393. Sorry I mislead you.

If Mike's not sure about the pump he may also not be aware that the belt length is different, as well.

Here's a site to look at pics of timing covers. Note the differences in the water passages to the water pump.
