It seems most chip stuff is for GM vehicles or diesels.

Online I found a Ford Mustang V6 chip made by "Jet" that reportedly gives a 15 HP boost.

$240 on line, $290 from local auto parts place.

Could this be the one you installed? No mention of three settings in the description.
