As long as we're talking directional signals, I believe my Contemporary has the Volkswagen unit that the ERA uses (at least it looks the same as the illustration). To keep the directional signal unit from rotating on the shaft, it utilizes a special set screw with an extension on the end that fits into a hole in a small piece of stamped steel that presses on the shaft. Kind of a Mickey Mouse arrangement, in my opinion. It tends to loosen regularly. I plan on modifying the shaft to give it a better seat and would like a new set screw, as the hole is really augered due to too many tightenings in the past. [I hope I haven't lost everyone yet.] Anyway, I would like to aquire a couple of new set screws. Does anyone know where I can purchase these critters? Thanks, Rich.
