Ditto, Ron, great stuff!

Well, I went ahead and ordered all the parts (Flywheel, clutch disc and pressure plate) from David Kee. Should be here this week. I'll keep you posted on my progress and post any questions I may have. I'll take some pics too.

Thanks, guys!

What size on your trans?

I've got the big I/O off 428 with 1 3/8 nose.

I have the 1-3/8 x 10 nose too. Do you have the front bearing adapter too? My Tilton required a Tilton adapter so the McLeod adapter is also available iffen ya need it.

What kind of clutch/pressure plate set-up do you have?

What bore size do you have on the slave cyl? 7/8 is recommended with my new Tilton T/O bearing, and I have a Wilwood 7/8 installed. I also have my pedal stop ready to go. . .
something I forgot the first time (my bad). My clutch pedal was always heavy, stop 'n' go traffic is PITA for sure. When you're ready, let me know about the McLeod T/O bearing. I think we should hook up anyway, just to shoot the breeze over a coffee or something.
Keep in touch!

Kimba

Kim, my master is 1" Tilton and slave I think is 7/8" Not a good combination of leverage, but it works.

I am looking at the dream cruise, I hated it a couple of years ago and am not sure I would be willing to spend four hours to go two or three miles.

I'll get in touch with you after the cruise.

Default WDC 2004

I'll take pics and pass them along to you.
There is another cruise in Saint Clair Shores on the 25th of Aug. It's called the "Harper Cruise". It only goes from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm. This cruise is obviously much smaller than Dream Cruise. . . it only takes an hour and a half to go 1 mile.

We'll talk later in Aug.

New flywheel won't work with Lakewood scatter shield. I'm ordering a Mcleod Modular bellhousing. The Lakewood does not allow correct starter location. . . no adjustment. Anyway, should have parts by tomorrow or Wednesday. . . wish me success!

Are you sure? My Lakewood had a knock out piece to accomodate my starter. The knockout piece is a little crescent shaped piece that you bang out like a blank in an electrical box.

Kim, fixed the "break-your-leg" clutch with a 7/10 Tilton master, works great.

The 25th is a Wed. are you saying you are all gonna hang out on Harper Ave. on a wed. night?

Nuts, talk to ya later.

Default Haper Cruise

Yup, the Haprer cruise has always been on Wednesday.

I'll be Parked somewhere along Harper. If I can get off work early enough, I'll try to be down by 10 mile, parked at Gecko's.
