I bet they do. I liked looking at them sitting on my living room too.
With the terminals on top there could easily be air trapped in the switch.
Try loosening the junction block an rotating it so that the terminal are facing down as much as possible.Tighten that back up and the loosen the switch and let it leak for a minute or so to let the air out.
