Default Goodyear Cloth wrapped hose

I'm wanting to use Goodyear cloth wrapped hose for some of my oil and fuel lines. I am having a hard time finding it or anyone who sells it online. I've found equivalent hoses from Parker and Gates:

Parker 201
Gates C5C

Does anyone have the Goodyear model number or could look on their car? The closest I've found is a "GR5", but don't know if that is correct - it's a hydraulic hose I believe.

Also would be interested in sizes...I know I need 3/4" and 3/8"...anything else to finish off a KMP or CSX?

Thanks in advance,

Joe

Contact your closest shop / dealer that specializes in over the road trucks (Freightliner, Peterbuilt, Kenworth) - Their service and parts department can either sell it to you or recommend a "Hose Shop" where they have theirs made.

Thanks Randy, but my problem is that the hose shops around me all carry Gates and Parker, which is why I know what I need from them.

I just can't find Goodyear anywhere...and if I could, I don't know what model hose people are using on the their cars to ask for.

I found what I wanted manufactured by Dana Corp. It's called WeatherHead, trademark WH. Used it with brass fittings on the oil lines and fuel line from the fuel log to the holley. Look at my photo gallery. There is also some new stuff out there by Aeroquip, with a flame resistant covering, nice looking hose. Did not find Goodyear anywhere. Used the 5/16" braided hose for the fuel lines, fuel log to Holley, also available in 3/8". The oil lines are 5/8" I think with push lock AN connections, size AN8, some folks use AN10 on the oil lines. The size 8 is pretty much the same size as 5/8" heater hose. Good luck.

FWIW, the Kirkhams use AN12 connectors for their oil cooler lines and braided steel AN6 (teflon) for the fuel line from the tank to the engine bay. I'm not sure what the oil line sizes are, but they use a NPT adapter to get to the AN12.

Thanks Dreamer! I'm starting to think the info for the Goodyear hose must be top secret.
