Hello, I just purchased a shelby alum rear housing. Who can I ask for help or where can I purchase all the parts for the insides? I need everything. Thanks in advance for any help, Regards, Karl

When you said you purchased a Shelby housing, what pieces did you get?
I'm not certain what limited slip unit Shelby and/or Kirkham uses, maybe someone will post. Different brands and prices for the various designs.
The rest is Dana 44.
Parts you might need:
1. side housings, stub axles, bearings, flanges (expensive)
2. case should have two main caps inside with bolts (machined as a set)
3. Ring and Pinion (Precision Gear)
4. Posi unit, some brand/type ---------------------------------ANYONE KNOW what Shelby and Kirkham, pros and cons?-----------
5. Shims for side housings (unique to this diff)
6. Rear cover (drill your own vent hole and baffle, fill below fill hole)
7. Bearing kit for Pinion, shims, front input flange 1310 series (Upgrade necessary)
8. Bearing kit for stub axles (main caps)
9. Gaskets come with some of the other kits
May as well start worry'ing about the rear axles now as well, drop me an email and we can trade info and sources.
The prices vary wildly between sources!!!!

alum rear housing
I received the alum housing & main caps. I found the gear type vendors online that sell the installation kits with complete bearings, races, seals & gaskets. I will email or call you later today.
I purchased a super nice set of 3 mounts from Roger, great quality & very fast delivery.
I do not think SA is the best place to order parts. A regular gear place will probably offer quicker service & be less expensive.
thanks, Karl

Karl If you are having trouble with your 3rd member.... seriously mate, I wouldn't be advertising it over the net. I'd personally find it a little embaressing myself!
Hey just joking around, so don't take it to heart.
Seriously though they now have a nasal spray available for these situations.

Hey Karl, have you decided on a ratio and whether you want fine spline or coarse. I have a few pieces we could talk about suitability for your application.
Cheers Nick
