Default Engine swap,from 4.6L to 5.0L???

I have access to a number of hurricane flooded cars,some still run/drive as they only had few inches of water in them, others were completely under........

Here's the deal: I will be bidding on some late model (from 1995 to 2001) Mustang Cobra SVT cars........I plan to make one into a road race car as I did with my 65 Coupe.........The best of the lot right now is a 01 model Mustang Cobra SVT, theft recovery (not a flood car), only the engine and trans were stolen out of the car, it has no body damage and everything else looks good, price may be reallllllll right, goes up for bids next thursday.............. I don't know squat about the modular motors and not interested in learning either right now, but I do jave a good supply of 5.0L blocks/heads and other parts.........

I know the 5.0L motor will fit the later model Mustangs, but what will it take to put a 5.0L where a 4.6L modular motor was??????????

Are the K memebers the same or not???, either I will use a Tremec or possibly even a close ratio toploader.........I know they make the trans crossmember for the toploader, but not sure about the neeeded parts for the 5.0L swap......Could it be as easy as swapping out the motor mounts for the 5.0L motor mounts?????

Any help would be greatly appreciated or if you know of any other site that could provide parts/info, that would help..........

Thanks;

David
