I should add the caution to if you are setting the lash by the firing order that you have a degreed dampner or at least marks exactly at tdc,90,ddc,270 and be exactly on the mark--The camshaft turns at half speed of the crank and will be on the base circle unless the cam is severely mis-timed.
I have never seen a cam with specs that would have any acceleration or deaceleration ramp in play at that point.
