I have the complete service manual plus a CD that takes you step by step through rebuilding one of these things.
Not what you asked though. My drain plug is on the bottom on the passenger side a little farther back than the check/fill plug which is about half way up on the passenger side. My transmission is obviously a lot easier to get to than some as I can pull it and have it on the bench in 20 minutes easy. To fill it I just get a jug with the fluid and it has a pump with a hose and a curved metal end which hooks just over the lip of the fill hole. I just pump while sitting on the floor until I see it start to seep out. Takes around 5 minutes to do this.
