Ron has you going the right direction, just make darn sure your new baffle does not fall into engine or any hardware you choose to secure in place.
Racer trick is to fill hose before valve with plastic pot scrubber material to block oil spray and condense to vapor, again make sure it can not get into engine. PS...... Most PCV valves need to be oriented properly to take advantage of flapper weight/gravity inside valve .
