I also had Team III wheels custom backspace to fit my narrowed '95 Mustang GT 8.8 rear. I took it to Moser in Indiana and had them take out all they could (including space for the quad shocks) and leave the stock mountings for the lower control arms. I believe they only took out 2.5-2.675" per side. I also had to buy new Moser axles because that year 8.8 axles neck down off the splines and could not be re-splined. it turned out well, though.
