Holley Carb Gurus - Stripped Threads??
After changing the power valve and jets in my Holley 750 DP I was reinstalling the fuel bowl in the front and as I was tightening the 4 bolts that hold the fuel bowl to the carb the top left bolt (Pass. Side) would not tighten.
I do not put much torque on these bolts, I just snug them but that one bolt would not hold any torque at all. It just turns with no resistance so I am thinking that the threads in the carb body are stripped. The carb does not leak now but I am wondering if the next time I have the bowl off if a leak will occur.
What are my options carb gurus??
