Am in the process of building a pedal stop now. My clutch would not disengage and just changed from a 3/4" tilton MC to a 1". Was worried about the bearing going in too far. Got lucky, the clutch works perfectly, but am still going to rig up a pedal stop. Don't know about the wear issue. Have only put a few miles since the change.
The pedal is very stiff. Might go down to to 7/8" or 15/16" if my leg gets too big.
