I'm running 315/35/17 Mickey Thompson DOT ET drag radials, on 10" wheels. They fill the wheel wells great! I yank the front tires every time I take it out too. well.... almost every time.

Default Stuck with 16" dia wheels (for now) but

the tire section width is 14.2" wide, tread width is 12.4". I believe the section width in mm is greater than 335s. I am running Good Year GT / Trans AM Rain Tires on three piece Compomotive wheels. The offset has to be right on! My car is an ERA.

I am not trying to steal this thread but what size tires are you running on the front. I have 16" compomotive wheels that my tire guy could not find the correct size tires for the rims. To get the correct size tires I had to by new 17" rims. I am not a big dia rim guy and there is a visual differance between 16 " & 17" rims. I went with CS/ american racing tork thruster chrome rims and I just not 100% happy with the look. I would like to go back to the 16" Comp's and bigger tires.

Thanks in advance.
Terry

I have a Unique 289 FIA that I am just finishing.

On the rear:
315x35/17" BFG G-Force Radials on a 3 piece Compomotive 12.5 knock off wheel

It is putting down 12.5" of rubber on the ground

On the front:
275x40/17" BFG G-Force Radials on a 3 piece Compomotive 9.5" knock off wheel

As you can see they fit nicely with no interference.

I'm running 325/50-15 MT drag radials on custom modified 10.5" (one inch inner half stretch) Trigos. More pics in gallery. This is the max 15" diam tire size that will fit under a Superformance.

Those tires are very cool. This may be a stupid question but are they street legal? If you dont mind me asking, how much did the modifications to the wheels set you back?
