I used the same torque spec. Just put a little moly grease on the threads and torque them down.

I've never seen different setup specs between aluminum and cast rearends. You're basically setting pinion depth, backlash, and bearing preload, which should be the same. The gears don't know what the housing is made of.

Thanks, I will get on with it. I am being a bit fussy as the ARP bolts have an approx torque setting of 95ftIb, in order to get enough stretch, and with the light looking alloy caps etc I am wary about distortion, and stuffing a housing thread!

Only Red-lead I ever heard of was a primer? White-lead is banned but there's a product called Insted-a-lead that works the same.

Never liked Prussian blue either, too hard to read.
