Very common SPF problem. Clip is too strong. Crushes or cracks plastic housing.

My directionals haven't worked for several years now, and I thought it was the switch. Just too lazy to get in there and mess with trying to replace it. I've been using the old fashion "Hand Signals" for my turns - I wounder if half the drivers knew what I was doing!
