I have been using mine and I could not be happier. I have two stools, one with a telescoping seat and one that is a low profile that work great. If I'm lazy, I also lay down on my creeper. I just removed my engine and transmission, for my new side oiler & tranny, and it's done with ease. From major work to just maintenance and cleaning, I won't do without it.
I'll mention again that I do not work for the company. When I like products I like to share these with all of you through a "Group Buy". It's good for us and the company.
This car lift is for most home garages with low 8' ceilings. Mine is 9' so this one will be perfect. It's a two post four arms just like most professional auto mechanics use. I've been researching lift's and almost bought the "Kwik Lift" but after seeing this lift and how much more you can do, it was a no brainier.
This system is portable meaning, you can remove the bolts in the post base, tip it back on the rollers and store it all in a corner out of the way. I just leave mine anchored, as it's not in the way. I do disconnect the hose's and wheel the pump cart in a corner.
The arms more out 90 degrees, so even if you leave the posts in the ground, the arms will be out of the way, or. just remove the arm pins and store them. This is how I will use mine, no sense in removing the posts unless you won't be using it all the time.
When I built my Cobra, and I wish I had the lift then !
The car is so low, that even with my friends larger lift at his mechanics shop, I have to drive up on 2x4' on all wheels to get the arms under the frame rails.
I have to do the same at home and,....take my low profile jack to lift the front up a few inches, then the back few inches, then the back, to the front again ect.... until I get it high enough to lay on my back. It's quite a job and takes a lot of time. THEN, reverse the process. Hell, by the time all this happens, I'm pooed-out !
They even have a optional ATV/motorcycle adapters that easily converts one post into a full service motorcycle lift.
I will try to answer any questions you have, and I can post or email anyone more photo's. Also, I'm not, a salesman for this company, I just like spreading the word to all car guys if I like a product.

Yes, and I plan on making or buying tire stops mounted on the floor, so I can be at the exact spot I need the arms, to the frame, for the cobra. Takes out the guessing. Know what I mean Vern.

Guys, tell me if i am wrong but i was told that it is better to store a car w/weight of tires ????Why do so many use the 4 post lift if it is worse for suspension....I am in the process of lookin 4 a lift now.....I will use it as storage and to change oil etc......Any thoughts....Thanks

Hello Sparks, all you should do if you're storing a car is remove the wheels/tires, from the car. That is what puts extra weight on the suspension.

How thick does the concrete floor have to be that you are anchoring it to? Anyone know what the average thickness of a residential garage floor is?

The concrete needs to be 4", which most home garages are, and have reinforcement like rebar or steel mesh wire.

You'll have to drill the floor for some type of bolt anchors to hold it down. Wonder what that would cost?? Did not see the bolts at first

You DO,..... have to bolt it down. You drill the holes, put in the included expansion sleeves and use the bolts to anchor the posts down. "Portable" means, you can take out the bolts and move the system in the corner of your garage or, take it to grandmas house, and use it there too !

Lift Utility
It appears as though a bridge could be constructed that connects between the parts that protrude out the top of the lift posts. Imagine a beam with two "soup cans" on the ends that slip over the top.
If that's true, they should sell that as an attachment for pulling engines, loading pickups, and what have you...

Great idea (seriously). Now would you need another lift to move it into place? Or can you dead lift and press a couple hundred pounds of I-beam?
