Don't do it, from your driving description you want torque, if anything buy a torque cam. I thought the cams were the same, it was the manifold and carb that made the difference

Hey, Varmit, I live just down the hill from you. Here's what I did to mine: If you really want to see and feel a difference, ditch the Street Avenger carb for a good DP (I bought an 830cfm ProSystems) and then ditch the restrictive 1 3/4 inch sidepipes for a pair of 3 inchers. Now that engine can breathe!

Made my 427SRTW engine (and my wife) scream! If you want to see and hear mine, let me know, we regularly go into Escondido for lunch. Could meet you there.

PS. You will need to wear a good pair of earplugs!

And you learn to live with the oil consumption!

That's the carb I was thinking of going with. Would love to hear and talk to you about it. We go to the Outback in Poway Wed nights at 4 if you want to stop by
