I know plenty of guys who use Fast efi or Big stuff 3 programs that would never touch a carb again for street use, it seems even the bad efi setups are better than the best carbs for street...

I think there are plenty here on ClubCobra who would argue that point.

If and when an EFI system is perfected, both installation, setup, tuning, a true plug and play system, I may be a buyer. But I haven't seen anything that folks haven't complained about.

And of course, there are some that are just downright fugly and I wouldn't buy it based on aesthetics.

EFI in my Cobra?

It'll be installed right after the airbag.

Passenger side, right? I thought you installed the driver's side already.

I think oil consumption is obvious different from car to car, build an aftermarket engine with any power adder, turbo, supercharge, or nitrious and use a carb and then use efi and then come talk to me, efi is far far superior, Kyroyer engines builds some of the finest efi engines around at a cost but they work like a dream, its a fact carbs work, efi works better, not these self learning systems I mean real tunable efi...

My airbags block views of rear safety camera.

Just got more great news:

It appears that after rebuilding the engine and needing new pistons due to the cracks on two of them, I also need to replace some of the valves and all of the guides as a few of the valves and all of the guides are showing more than normal wear. The builder remarked that this engine looked like it had been run without oil. Not on my watch, but who knows what happened before it was delivered to me. There goes another $1200 just for head work.

At least I am going to have the most expensive Roush 427 SRTW ever rebuilt.
Can't take away my bragging rights!

Now, can anyone tell me how to grind off the ROUSH name from my air cleaner lid? I've already replaced the valve covers with generic Ford covers.
