Default Price Motorsport dual quad intake....

Any of you guys run this on 427 sized Windsors and if so do you run his 460 cfm carbs?
I like the package with it's FE 427 looks but want to know if you can still be at the 500 HP mark with it..flywheel HP.
Right now I'm in the 540 range with the TFS 225 Highports,10.3 comp. Lunati VooDoo hyd. roller 241/249 .600 lift... Super Vic intake with a custom 875 cfm Holley.
It has been running extremely well for 5 yrs. but I would like to try the dual Holley setup. Not drag racing anymore just some hot street cruising.

That's a great looking setup - no idea how it runs though.

Smile Price motorsports dual quads

Good evening,

I have had that setup on my cobra for over 5 years Price Motorsports Dual Quad setup works great. I'm running a small block just like you, I get between 12-14 mpg but that depends on the position of my right foot. I have it tuned to run on only 1- 4 barrel around town, it makes great low end torque. When I kick all 8 in, the sound is amazing. Bill & Mary are great people with great customer service. I've bought the whole setup, carb, air cleaners & fuel log as well as their small block 427 valve covers with breathers. I highly recommend the set up its lots of fun.

Mike

Are you running a larger than 351 sized Windsor?
Yes it looks to be a great little package with the linkage and all and with a bit of work with a tall carb spacer and some blending could perform well for what I have planned.
Since this is going into my 85 Mustang LX with a cowl hood I should have some height to play with.
