Early 289's had an oil fill in the front cover.
I would use an early front cover, 1965 aluminum water pump, black engine, the HiPo chrome, COBRA, or early finned Edelbrock valve covers.
If you have a later model engine, you will have a 4 bolt front pulley... The 289's used a 3 bolt... (4 bolt is better!)
