Holley Question

I've got a Holley 750DP model 3310 and noticed the 2 rear butterfly's don't quite open all the way unless you do it manually from the opposite of the throttle linkages. Is this normal or is there an adjustment?

It's not a cable adjustment problem.

The vacuum linkage should pull it open when the engine is at an rpm level that will allow sufficient engine vacuum to be developed. Also, it is normal that it doesn't open completely. Someone may contradict me here, but I personally have never seen a vacuum secondary Holley that did completely open the secondaries. I was told why once, but can't remember. Maybe someone like Mr Fixit will chime in and tell you.

Thanks for the repley A Snake but it's a mechanical secondary Holley not the vacuum sec i think you are talking about?

A Holley 750 DP is a double pumper and the secondary butterflies are opend by the linkage,if they are not opening all the way,you probably have a linkage problem......

A 3310 Holley is a vacum secondary carb,not a double pumper..........Al's reply was correct concerning 3310's.....

Which carb do you have?????3310 or 750 DP??????

Double pumpers are usually 4150 or 4160.............

Sorry yes it is a 750DP. So there is no actual adjustment. The front butterfly's open staight up and down the rear 2 not quite.
