Default Need Windsor Water Pump BOLTS help...

I'm fairly new to Ford powerplants, so please bear with me on this easy one.

For purely asthetic reasons alone, I'm in the process of swapping out many of the ARP black oxide 12-point bolts on my Windsor-based RDI 392 to stainless steel ARP. Looking at the water pump from the front of the car, which bolts on a Ford SB waterpump go through a water jacket and require sealant? I know to put on anti-seize on the ones that don't. I'm just curious how much fluid I'm going to lose when I get around to performing this swap...

Thanks,

-Dean

P.S. BTW, I have the intake bolts already swapped and if someone wants to offer me $18 (shipping included) I'll ship them to anyone in the lower 48 (Jegs sells them new for $19.99 plus a $9.99 handling charge), so I'm just trying to save someone $12 on their current/next build (hey, you'll need a couple six packs for the build, right?!?).

Dean, I wouldn't think you would need to seal the bolts. I would only remove one at a time to keep the gasket integrity. There shouldn't be any water loss either.

I would definitely use anti seize on stainless steel bolts! i use those at work all the time and end up having to hacksaw a bunch each year. i agree with Bill on the swap.

Just a heads up for anyone else reading this thread. I just found out that the ARP water pump/timing cover bolt kit sold for 302s (with alum timing cover) does not fit the 5.0. Most of the bolts are 1/4 to 3/8 too short. My conversion for the front of my motor ended up costing me $75........The easiest way is to special order each bolt.
Sorry, didn't wan't to hi-jack. Just wanted to share this.
John
