There's no doubt there are some low usage/race applications with wicked hp/volume ratios.

I was speaking more along the lines of viable "everyday" or high usage applications.

My jet ski is supposed to last for a few hundred hours of operation.

As for some of the other stuff, it's truly amazing just how much technology has advanced and just what some people can do with small engines.

As a side note, the GN is one of the top 10 "tuner" cars of all time. It ranks up there with the 03 Mustang SVT Cobra and the SRT-4. All are cars you can drive off the lot, and with a small amount of cash and some minor modifications, you can surprise any number of folks with fully built street cars.

My jet boat has twin Yamaha 4 stroke 4 cycle and run 10,000 rpm red line. They each put out 140 hp. They are in a 23 foot boat and it goes 0 to 30 in 5 seconds. Most 23 foot boats are in the 8 to 10 second area. I love it, but no comparson to the Cobra.
