I just pulled Autolite plugs from my 347 (removed headers). Where the porcelan(sp?) was exposed - not covered with the plug wire, the plugs are black. Every plug is black all the way around 360^. At first I thought maybe they were leaking combustion, but it will not wipe off. Not sure what to make of it. Anyone else ever have this happen?

I think I will be putting motorcraft back in.
